Very Fine George II Padouk and Walnut Cabinet on Stand, the cabinet is finished on all four sides with finely book matched veneers inlaid with checkering and crossbanding. The cabinet with a pair of doors veneered on both sides and enclosing one long over two short fitted drawers, and having twin shaped original brass carrying handles to either side matching the interior handles. The stand having square chamfered legs with two short drawers and original two part cast handles to match, on brass and leather castors. This piece features an intricate locking mechanism to foil unwelcome intruders. English c. 1740

Chippendale Period Mahogany Cabinet on Chest or
William IV  Figured Rosewood Bookcase Cabinet, the projecting cornice above a plain frieze with finely carved applied flowerheads.  The upper section with three glazed doors opening to a faux rosewood interior and faux rosewood adjustable bookshelves with rosewood veneered fronts.  Each door is flanked by tapered pilasters with carved capitals, the lower section with three paneled doors with bead and reel mouldings flanked by pilasters  enclosing adjustable shelves, on a plinth base and the original faux rosewood interiors with shelves as above. English c.1840
Rare Antique Queen Anne Period Japanned Wardrobe Cabinet with Original Chinoiserie Decoration, having two long front hinged cabinet doors with fabulous chinoiserie decoration of horses and riders in a landscape with large flora and fauna and pavilions incorporated six lower false drawers with handles and a single real long drawer below. The arched cabinet doors enclose two shelves above an arrangement of nine ebonized drawers with brass ring handles and backplates. This piece was made c.1700. The interior drawers were added to the piece c.1800. <br><br>
